Project description

A new building with 70 supported housing units for the elderly is planned in the sector of the old Anònima factory, which will be completely transformed through an specific modification of the planning. The proposal is mainly based on two ideas:

The first is to create a building where, in addition to the housing units themselves, community spaces are incorporated to facilitate social relations between neighbors, thus increasing the well-being and sociability of elderly users who enjoy them.

The second is to solve the building by incorporating a series of construction design elements and installation systems that tend to almost zero energy consumption and to the sustainability guidelines established at European level.
